The RBS Twenty-20 Cup 2008–09 was the fifth edition of the domestic Twenty-20 Cup in Pakistan, sponsored by RBS. It was held in Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore from 25 to 29 May 2009. This tournament was held just before the ICC World T20. In which Pakistan won the World Championship first time. This tournament proved to be a good practice for Pakistan Lions before a big ICC Event. This edition had 13 competing teams and divided temas into four groups. Three groups of three teams each and a group of four teams. Sialkot Stallions successful defend the title by defeating host Lahore Lions in the final.[1]
